Going back to my roots!

Today I decided to go back natural (ish)!
My natural hair is an auburny colour but have been dying it since I can't even remember...
After going red and realising red really is the colour for me, I thought I'd take the plunge and have a go with a colour close to my roots.

I LOVE IT!

However, I don't know how long I will keep it.. as I still have a BRIGHT red from directions in my draw to use and well... I do love it bright! But I don't know, think I'll give it a rest for a while now. Just hope it doesn't fade too soon like the rest have been doing!

I'll post a before & after below.

  1. Love that colour! I really want to dye my hair a gingery auburn colour but I don't dare put it ontop the (very faded out)plum colour I have at the mo!

  2. Hiya, Sorry for the late reply. (I'm new to all this!)

Thank you, I loved it but its faded with it being blonde under it so I'm like a carrot at the mo!
Still like it but I have a bright red on the side so might just put that on for the time being.

If you don't feel comfortable putting the colour over the plum (I've had plum before and found it hard to get out!) I would suggest putting a light brown or med brown over if you have faded light enough to go light brown.. Then leave it a few days then put the auburn over the top. I also soak my hair in conditioner the day after or two days after dying. Even though creme gloss is a conditioning dye just because I'm a bit of a condition freak lol.

Thank you for following. I'm a total blog noob, I removed the followers box while I had none, not realising it would take away the option to actually follow me haha. I really must get with it! :$

I'm a blog noob too so I know how you feel haha. It took me about 3 days just to figure out how to get my crappy banner at the top lol.
I look forward to seeing more of your posts :)
